Meet the Team
Ian Parkinson FCA
Ian has been working in the accountancy profession for over thirty years. He trained with Binder Hamlyn in Manchester and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1982.
He then moved across the Pennines to Leeds where, after a brief spell with another multi-national firm, he joined Brays. He became a partner in 1988. On incorporation of the firm in 2006 Ian became a Director of the company.
Susan Taylor Bsc (Hons), FCCA, ACA
After graduating from university in Birmingham Susan trained with the large national firm of Pannell Kerr Forster in Leeds. She is a Chartered Accountant and also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
Susan is a Director of the company and has been with the firm for 20 years. She works closely with new and existing clients providing advice and support, especially during the present economic climate when the need to monitor business performance is more important than ever.
John Dale FCA
John, a Chartered Accountant, qualified in Keighley. He then spent several years in London before joining Brays. He has now retired after more than 30 years in Wetherby. However, he remains as a consultant to the practice on a part-time basis.
All other members of our team are very experienced in compliance work you would expect an accountancy firm to provide. We have specialists in all areas of personal and business tax, dealing with HMRC investigations, VAT, payroll management accounts, Sage and other book-keeping software, company secretarial services and IT.
