Ian Parkinson FCA
Ian has been working in the accountancy profession for almost thirty years. He was articled to Binder Hamlyn in Manchester and qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1982.
He then moved across the Pennines to Leeds where, after a brief spell with another multi-national firm, he moved to Leslie Bray & Co where he became a partner in 1988. On incorporation of the firm Ian became a Director of Brays Ltd.
John Dale FCA
John qualified as a Chartered Accountant in West Yorkshire in 1971. During the 70's he worked in London, returning North to become a partner in Leslie Bray & Co in 1979. On incorporation of the firm John became a Director of Brays Ltd
Susan Taylor Bsc (Hons), FCCA, ACA
After graduating from university in Birmingham Susan trained with the large national firm of Pannell Kerr Forster in Leeds. She is a Chartered Accountant and also a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
She joined Leslie Bray & Co in 1991 and was appointed a Director of Brays Ltd in 2008. Susan will continue to work closely with new and existing clients providing advice and support, especially during the present economic climate when the need to monitor business performance is more important than ever.
All other members of our team are very experienced in the basic compliance work you would expect a normal accountancy firm to provide, but we also have specialists in all areas of personal and business tax, dealing with HMRC investigations, VAT, bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts, Sage line 50 and other bookkeeping software, company secretarial and IT.
